The award winning ABBA Tribute Band ‘Revival’ have recently been voted as the UK’s Official No.1 ABBA tribute act by the Agent’s Association of Great Britain. This renowned ABBA stage show has proved a hit time and time again in the UK and the world over, wowing audiences from Europe to the Middle East and just recently the band has been invited to perform a 5 day tour in ABBA’s homeland of Sweden.
The show includes faithful choreography, spectacular and authentic costumes, stunning production and, most importantly, excellent musicianship.
ABBA Revival takes their audience on a musical journey back to those heady pop-tastic disco days when ABBA ruled the dance floor!.
Lydbrook Band is an award winning Championship Section Band based in the Forest of Dean and is sponsored by Forest of Dean Stone Firms Ltd. Formed in 1923, the band is in touching distance of its centenary and prides itself in stretching the boundaries when it comes to musical performance.
Following successful events in 2012 and 2015, Proms in the Park is presented by Lydbrook Band with financial assistance from Arts Council England via Lottery and public funding through Grants for the Arts.
The band performs at the Forest Theatre on a number of occasions each year to sell out audiences and travel to other parts of the country to include Bristol, Torquay and Blackpool as well as touring abroad to Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Spain, Holland and South Africa.
Lydbrook Band will round off the evening’s entertainment with a traditional Last Night of the Proms finale featuring Soprano Vocalist, Emma Dawson, followed by a spectacular firework display.
RSVP Bhangra Band
RSVP Bhangra present a high-energy, interactive and fun Bhangra music experience that really rocks the crowd and keeps them dancing all night. From legendary UK festivals such as Glastonbury, WOMAD and The Secret Garden Party (to name but a few) to Feest in 't Park over in Belgium, Pennabilli down in Italy and Kulturekosmos in Germany, RSVP has rocked them all, leaving delighted audiences everywhere screaming for more...
Lydbrook Training Band
One of Lydbrook Band’s many success stories over the years has been the formation of its Training Band. The band meets on a Monday evening in Lydbrook Bandroom from 6.30pm to 8.00pm and consists of about 20-25 players ranging in age from 8 to 70. As well as contests the Training Band has performed at a number of charity events and is always pleased to help out in and around the community.
Rock Choir is much more than a choir - it's a multi layered singing experience. The power of music, meeting new friends and performing at life changing events, together contribute to an emotional and powerful journey for their members. They have been perfecting Rock Choir for 10 years now and have achieved an award-winning standard of excellence in both the educational and emotional aspects of what they try to do. This choir is from Monmouth and Chepstow.
Pandemonium is a 10-piece steel drum band based in Coleford, Gloucestershire and made up of players of all ages. Some are already musicians; for others the band is their first experience of an instrument.
