INNOVATION, AVIATION AND CELEBRATION: A CONCERT UNDER THE WINGS OF CONCORDE

Join Aerospace Bristol for a musical extravaganza that celebrates more than 100 years of aerospace engineering in Bristol.

For the first time, Liz Lane's Innovation 216 will be performed under the wings of an aircraft that inspired it: the iconic Concorde. From the Boxkite to the Blenheim Bomber, Brabazon, Britannia and, of course, Concorde, Innovation 216 traces Bristol’s aerospace history through the reminiscences and memories of past and present workers in the industry.

Other flight-themed pieces that will feature on the night include 'Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines', '633 Squadron', 'Dam Busters', 'Enter the Galaxies' and 'Fly me to the Moon'.

This special performances features:

Lydbrook Band

Airbus Filton Workplace Choir

Bristol Man Chorus

City of Bristol Choir

Gurt Lush Choir

City of Bristol Learners Band

Lydbrook Training Band

And will be conducted by Ian Holmes and David Ogden
